In June, Robur launched its latest product Kapitalpension Depå (Capital pension custody account) – a product that FöreningsSparbanken offers customers who want to play an active part in placing their own capital.

During the spring months, Itello has, together with Swedbank Markets and FöreningsSparbanken IT, carried out a project to integrate services from Robur and Swedbank Markets to FöreningsSparbanken's office network. With this project, Itello has increased its knowledge on how to conduct projects involving different insurance business areas.

Investment insurance, portfolio bond, and wrap-around-insurance are different names for what this is all about – to offer customers the choice of investing in funds, bonds, shares, warrants, options, and so on, often collected in a custody account. Each insurance company has its own investment rules and fee structures providing the customer with various choices.

The solution that Itello has supplied is a configuration of Inca that includes integration to a custody account system for trading and a web portal so that customers are able to continually follow the value of the insurance. The integration is implemented using two standard interfaces, Inca Integration Services for integration to the web portal and Inca Integration Adapter for integration to the custody account system. As Inca manages several languages simultaneously, the solution can be used across several geographic markets (within the same installation).
