Sweden has for many years been one of the world’s most open and changing markets for pensions and savings. One of the driving forces fueling this change is demographics: people live longer and the ratio of workers to pensioners is in steady decline.  That traditional public pension systems had outlived themselves was realised as early as in the 1990’s. Radical change was called for. This has since led to the creation of a wholly new market in which major players in insurance face off with smaller challengers and in which savings and pensions are of equal importance.

September 24 is Stora Livförsäkringsdagen 2008. The venue is World Trade Center in Stockholm and, as usual, Itello will be there.
