Everyone is a key individual   

Itello employs around 50 peopleall based in the Stockholm region and all with unique skills and strengths. By sharing our knowledge, we are able to deliver what we promise, more efficient insurance administration using Straight Through Processing (STP). For us, STP means that an insurance customer gets an offer, signs a contract, has in and out payment routines set up, and gets a potential claim process handled without the delays often caused by manual handling. This places large demands on an insurance system, calling for a well-structured administrative process and a flexible rules engine that validates and identifies the next step.

Often, what attracts people to Itello is the challenge and complexity of working with personal insurance and IT. The area of IT has always been characterised by change and, in recent times, change has also become a key feature of the insurance industry. New and enforced legal rulings, the possibility for new actors to establish themselves, and the ongoing consolidation of the market places great demands on us to push forward in order to meet our customer's expectations.

At Itello, all individuals are key individuals. The unique collective skills we possess are difficult to replace. This means that questions involving work environment, health, and job satisfaction are given high priority.

At Itello, we take responsibility for the entire development process, from design and software development to implementation, operation, and administration. This places high demands on both the company and those we employ. Broad experience covering the technology and platforms with which we work is required. Another requirement is that we are innovative and can improvise while, at the same time, maintaining our structure and discipline. Insurance and savings are, by nature, longterm (even lifelong) and this must be taken into account during the software development process.

Itello is strengthening its organisation in order to meet increasing requirements from existing customers as well as anticipated requirements from new customers. At present, we are mostly interested in those specialising in insurance but we welcome applications from different professional, academic, and cultural backgrounds.
