Holistic view of sustainable work

Itello’s ambition is to have a holistic view of the company and our employees, customers, partners, suppliers and surroundings. We think it is important that the company and its employees always look for opportunities to contribute to a more sustainable world. We therefore want all our day-to-day operations continuously to be affected by a number of perspectives: – Environmental management in accordance with ISO 14 001 – Social accountability in accordance with ISO 26 000 – and Occupational health and safety management in accordance with the upcoming ISO 45001 standard.

We have established an area management system for each perspective that includes both the parts of the system with e.g. goals and benchmarks, policies and guidelines, organisation, etc…, and a process for continuous improvement in every area.

As far as Environment management is concerned, Itello has taken the full step and certified our management system for Environment in accordance with ISO 14001. Regarding Social responsibility, there is no certification to ISO-standard. However, our self-declaration was verified by an external partner – Research Institutes of Sweden (RISE).  With respect to Occupational health and safety, we plan to certify our management system as well. Itello has chosen to use ISO’s basic thinking as a checklist to ensure that all “should and shall” requirements have been met in this area.
